- Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between the hotel and the guest. By making a booking, the guest accepts the following terms.
- Booking Confirmation and Conclusion of Contract
A reservation is considered binding once it has been confirmed in writing by the hotel via email or another suitable means of communication. The guest is obliged to check the booking confirmation immediately and to report any errors or discrepancies without delay.
- Prices and Services
The prices confirmed at the time of booking apply. The room rate includes the services explicitly listed. Unused services will neither be refunded nor compensated.
- Changes and Cancellations
Changes or cancellations of a reservation must be made in writing and are only valid upon written confirmation by the hotel.
If the reserved room cannot be re-rented for the same period after a cancellation, the following cancellation fees will be charged on the total booking amount:
- 7 to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the booked stay
- No-show: 100% of the booked stay
- Late arrival or early departure: 100% of unused services
The time of receipt of the written cancellation by the hotel is decisive for the calculation of the cancellation fees.
The hotel reserves the right to charge the corresponding costs to the credit card provided as guarantee.
Different booking and cancellation conditions may apply for special offers, group bookings, or non-refundable rates.
- Travel Cancellation Insurance
We strongly recommend that our guests take out travel cancellation insurance to protect themselves against unforeseen events.
- Complaints
Any defects or complaints must be reported to the hotel immediately during the stay so that appropriate remedies can be made.
Claims for unrectified defects must be made in writing no later than 7 days after departure. After this period, all claims are excluded, as far as legally permissible.
- Liability
The hotel is liable within the framework of legal provisions for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct. Any further liability is excluded, as far as legally permissible.
No liability is assumed for loss, theft, or damage to the guest’s personal belongings, unless there is a legal liability.
- Data Protection
Personal data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of handling the reservation and stay, and in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
- Place of Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
Swiss law applies exclusively.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the contractual relationship is the hotel’s registered office, unless mandatory legal provisions dictate otherwise.
